May 9th Stilwell Strawberry Festival| Held since the 1940s to promote the strawberries grown in the area, the annual Stilwell Strawberry Festival has become one of Oklahoma's most-loved hometown traditions. Over 30,000 visitors make the trek each year to Stilwell, the "Strawberry Capital of the World." The all-day festival will take place on Saturday and will feature a 5K run, parade, carnival rides, plenty of vendor booths, a car show, and the crowing of the Strawberry Festival Queen.
